Speechcom is a speech pathology staffing company that is dedicated to placing the best speech pathologists into local Southern California school districts. We aspire to make a profound impact in the lives of the clients we serve and our therapists. We aren’t like typical speech pathology placement agencies. We make it our mission to match the right pathologist with the right contract and provide our therapists with constant resources and support so that we succeed with every client.

We provide support to our highly talented and qualified staff by making our administration and resources readily available. We strive to hire only the best candidates and partner with school districts to provide excellent services and support.

Our goal is to create an atmosphere that fosters talent, leadership, and creativity so that we can deliver the most effective and dedicated staffing solutions to school districts.

Meet the Team.

Anna Weber

Anna Weber is a Speech Pathologist, CEO, and owner of SpeechCom Inc, SpeechCom Children’s Speech Therapy Center, & Co Founder of Word & Motion Speech Therapy Group. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Walla Walla University in 1997. She went on to complete post baccalaureate studies in Communication Science Disorders from Western Washington University and Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Loma Linda University in 2000. Over the last 23 years Anna has worked in a variety of settings including public school districts in Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange County. She performed Speech Pathology services for Orange County Regional Center from 2007-2011. In 2016 Anna and her husband Erick opened a private speech pathology practice in Redondo Beach, CA. She is a member of CASHA, ASHA, and an SLPA advisory committee board member at Cerritos College.

Rebecca Ruchlin Coley

Vice President Business and Staff Development
Rebecca Ruchlin Coley is a Speech Language Pathologist. She completed her bachelor’s degree from Marymount Manhattan College in Communication Science Disorder in 2014. She received her Master of Education in Speech Language Pathology from Monmouth University in 2016. Rebecca was awareded her assistive technology certificate from California State University- NorthRidge in 2020. Rebecca has worked in public schools in NJ, TX, and CA, as well as private practices and early intervention. She is a member of ASHA, and holds a speech pathology license in CA and TX. Rebecca is the Vice President of Business Development for SpeechCom Inc, working on recruiting great therapists, managing and expanding relationships with school districts, and performing managerial duties.

SANDY PECK, MBA, PHR

HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

Sandy Peck, Human Resources Director, has a Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s in Business Administration, Human Resources emphasis. Sandy is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) with a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Sandy has worked mostly in finance and healthcare human resources administration. Sandy’s expertise is with payroll, recruitment, employment law, strategic planning, and leadership specializing in compliance, benefit administration, staffing and employee relations. Sandy is enthusiastic about the employee and employer relationship and strives to create a rewarding employee experience. 

Adriana Arriaga

Business and Staff Development Associate
Adriana Arriaga is a speech and language pathology assistant with over 10 years of serving students Pre-K through 12th grade. In addition to working in the school setting, she worked in the private practice serving the pediatric population. Adriana graduated from California State University – Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She became a stay-at-home mom and would later return to school to pursue a license in speech pathology. Adriana completed her post-baccalaureate coursework in communication, sciences, and disorders through California State University – Dominguez Hills. She completed her SLPA licensure hours through California State University – Northridge. Adriana specializes in business development and serves as a liaison between SpeechCom staff and districts.

Danielle De Buhr, M.S. CCC-SLP

Business Development Associate

Danielle De Buhr is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and received her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Whittier College in 1998. She continued on to receive her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loma Linda University in 2000. Danielle is a member of ASHA and has worked in the public school and private practice settings. In addition, she is a supervisor for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and a business development associate for SpeechCom, Inc. Danielle is passionate about consulting and educating staff and families on the importance of early intervention for successful communication development.

Susie Gratz-Maag

Human Resources Generalist

Susie Gratz-Maag has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations as well as Political Science. Susie has worked mainly in healthcare related Human Resources roles. Susie specializes in employee relations and ensuring productive communication between the employee and employer.
